🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In November 1957, a civilian observer at Roslyn AFS, New York, saw two round red objects moving back and forth for five minutes. Although no photos were taken, the report notes that the observer didn't specify the direction of movement, which complicated the evaluation. Despite this, the flight path suggested a balloon with lights. The report concludes that the phenomenon was "possibly a balloon," but without complete data, a definitive assessment wasn't possible.
The lack of detailed information, such as exact direction or altitude, limited the researchers' ability to make a more precise evaluation. However, the object's behavior, along with its color and shape, pointed toward a conventional aerial explanation. This case, though brief, reflects how many reports from that era remained in uncertainty due to missing key details.
