🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In November 1957, a civilian in Durham, North Carolina, reported seeing two UFOs. These appeared as elongated red objects, roughly the size of a baseball. They moved one behind the other with a sound like an electric razor, slowly disappearing. Despite high jet traffic in the area, investigators considered the possibility of two jet exhausts at high altitude.
Another sighting minutes later described a round object that changed color from bluish-green to white. It moved slowly from northeast to southeast and made a 90-degree turn. Some experts suggested it could have been an astronomical phenomenon or auroras, although the full moon was in a position matching the observer's report. Overall, the reports did not reach a definitive conclusion but pointed toward conventional explanations.
