🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In December 1957, a witness in Englewood, Ohio, observed a reddish object with a vapor trail. It was described as a glowing red object that blinked and moved eastward. Although initially considered a balloon, investigators concluded it was an aircraft. The report includes witness comments and an evaluation, highlighting the difficulty in clearly identifying the phenomenon.
The Air Force assessed the case, and although no photos were taken, a five-minute visual observation was recorded. The witness described the object as the size of a shirt button, with an intermittent glow. Despite initial attention, the case did not lead to further investigations or definitive conclusions.
