🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In December 1957, three observers in the North Atlantic reported sightings of a luminous blue object. The sightings occurred at three different times: 00:50, 00:05, and 01:07 GMT. Despite the observers agreeing on the description of the object, the lack of detailed information prevented any conclusive evaluation. The report lacked photos, radar data, and other key details, making further analysis difficult. The official conclusion was that there was insufficient data to determine if the object was a balloon, aircraft, astronomical phenomenon, or something else.
The records indicate the object was moving at high speed toward the northeast, at an altitude of 1000 feet above ground. However, there was no correlation between the sightings, and no additional relevant data was recorded. The report was classified as "insufficient for evaluation," reflecting the ambiguity of the case. Despite its brevity, this kind of historical record remains valuable for understanding how unidentified aerial phenomena were handled during that era.
