Summary

In December 1957, Dayton, Ohio, was the scene of several unidentified flying object sightings. A 15-year-old boy reported a bright, silver object moving rapidly toward the southwest. Although initially considered the possibility of an aircraft, investigators concluded it was an astronomical phenomenon. Later, a woman called to report a "flashing star" in the southeast, which turned out to be Venus. Finally, a very bright object resembling a shooting star was observed, attributed to a meteor. Despite detailed descriptions, all cases were resolved as natural or astronomical phenomena.
