🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In December 1957, two pilots in Japan reported a luminous object changing colors between white, orange, and red. The object remained fixed in relation to their aircraft, leading to confusion about whether it was a balloon, an astronomical body, or an atmospheric phenomenon. Although the observers could not determine the exact distance, the data suggested it might be Venus. The observation lasted between 10 and 15 minutes, and weather conditions were excellent, reinforcing the possibility of an astronomical explanation.
The investigation concluded it was likely a balloon or a celestial body, ruling out the presence of an unidentified object of unknown origin. The pilots, experienced in air operations, reported no threats or anomalous behavior. Although the report did not resolve all doubts, the data helped assess the phenomenon. Ultimately, there was no conclusive evidence of a UFO, but rather a natural explanation.
