In December 1957, a witness in the east of Los Angeles spotted a round object about five inches in diameter with a bright blue light. The object appeared suddenly at the top of his windshield while he was stopped at a red light. It moved at an angle of about 60 degrees from south to north and disappeared behind the mountains.
