In December 1957, a witness in Canton, Ohio, spotted a round golden object the size of a basketball. The object was moving slowly east and was visible for about four seconds. The description is clear, but no photos were taken and no additional information was recorded.
Investigators concluded that there was insufficient data to evaluate the phenomenon. No report was found in the files, suggesting the case was not investigated further than the initial observation. Although it was logged as a ground visual sighting, the lack of data prevents any definitive conclusion about the nature of the object.
