🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In January 1958, a witness in San Bernardino, California, reported a bright object moving rapidly across the sky. It was a very bright white light, the size of a dime, moving back and forth over the city. The sighting lasted about five minutes, and the object disappeared over Norton. Although other possibilities like balloons or astronomical lights were considered, the final conclusion pointed to an aircraft. An officer from the 27th Air Division confirmed it was a T-33 testing a new anti-collision light, explaining the unusual behavior of the object. The official report includes details on location, time, and weather conditions, and was filed under Project 10073.
