Spherical UFO seen in 1958 in New Mexico

Summary

An officer at Holloman AFB control tower observed a bright, spherical object, the size of a baseball held at arm's length. The object slowly climbed and descended, moving with the wind before disappearing behind clouds. The sighting lasted 35 minutes and was recorded as a ground visual. Although a balloon was considered, no records of one were found in the area at that time. It was speculated that it could have been a balloon forced to the ground by rain, but no physical evidence was found.
