Summary

A blue and white ball-shaped object was sighted in Great Bend, Kansas, on March 24, 1958. The witness, a member of the sheriff's department, observed it for 5-7 seconds before it vanished toward the southeast. The object emitted a flash and was classified as likely a meteor.
