🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In March 1958, a British officer on vacation in Vero Beach observed a faint flickering light near the horizon. The object moved irregularly, following a course from east to southeast for about two minutes. Although the officer did not identify it as an aircraft, investigators concluded there was not enough information to evaluate the phenomenon. Atmospheric conditions could have distorted the object's appearance, but no additional data was obtained.
The lack of further evidence and the inability to contact the witness led to the case being classified as insufficient for a conclusive evaluation. Despite reviewing multiple sources, such as radar and civilian observers, no records of unusual activity were found. The report was included in the ongoing study of aerial phenomena, but no definitive explanation was reached.
