A civilian observer near Pecos, Texas, reported in 1958 a bright, shiny diamond-shaped object measuring 50 feet wide and 75 feet high. The object, described as resembling aluminum, emitted a jet engine-like sound and rotated approximately 60 times per minute. After hovering for a few minutes, it ascended about 2000 feet and slowly veered off to the northwest. Despite observing it for five minutes, the report deemed the witness unreliable, without ruling out conventional explanations such as balloons or sunlight reflections.
