🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In April 1958, a group of observers in Denton, Nebraska, spotted an unidentified object with unusual characteristics. The object was described as oval up close and red at a distance, with extremely bright interior lights. Witnesses reported three distinct appearances over a twenty-minute period, with each observation lasting one to two minutes. The object moved in changing directions, even making sudden turns and disappearing abruptly, which confused the observers.
The official assessment concluded it was likely an aircraft, specifically a B-47, whose landing light might have been on. However, witnesses mentioned details that did not easily fit a conventional explanation, such as the intense brightness of the lights and the unusual engine noise. Although several aircraft movements were recorded in the area during the same period, the object's description did not exactly match any known aircraft, leaving open the possibility of an unconventional phenomenon.
