Bright meteorite seen in Hamilton UFO report

In April 1958, a witness in Hamilton, Ontario reported a bright object that lit up the area like daylight. While driving at 80 km/h, they saw a fireball with a white trail moving at high speed. The object appeared extremely hot and lasted only a few seconds in the sky. Although others didn't notice it, the witness insisted it wasn't a balloon or rocket.

Investigators concluded it was a bright meteorite, known as a bolide. These phenomena are common and leave a luminous trail when entering the atmosphere.
