🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In May 1958, three triangular objects were observed for an hour and a half by a commercial pilot over California. Described as bluish-white and star-like, they appeared stationary in the sky. Although initially considered balloons or aircraft, the data pointed to Venus and Arcturus, two visible stars at the time. A TWA captain reported the sighting, noting that other commercial planes also saw the same objects. Despite the long observation period, no photos or radar data were available, complicating a definitive evaluation. The conclusion leaned toward astronomical phenomena, though balloons were not ruled out.
