🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A civilian observer in Kisalon, Mindanao, reported in 1953 a very bright, silvery-blue object emitting sharp rays in all directions. He described it as brighter than Venus and moving in an unusual way, tracing a 90-degree arc in less than a minute. The object seemed to pause momentarily before accelerating downward, causing confusion among witnesses.
The report, prepared by the Air Attaché in Manila, notes that no conclusive evidence was found regarding the object's nature. Several possibilities were considered, such as a balloon, a meteor, or an atmospheric phenomenon, but none provided a satisfactory explanation. The report highlights the precision of the witness's observations, a Jesuit priest, who detailed the trajectory and behavior of the object. Despite the investigation, the case remains unsolved.
