🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In July 1958, a witness in Oliver Springs, Tennessee, reported seeing a round white object that suddenly appeared and gradually faded. The object, about the size of a dime, moved in a straight line from northwest to southeast and was brighter than the evening star. The observation lasted between 1 and 1½ minutes, and although no photos were taken, investigators suggested it could have been a balloon or a satellite. The report noted favorable weather conditions and insufficient data for a definitive evaluation.
The case was classified as "Satellite" by investigators, indicating a plausible explanation. However, the object's mysterious nature and unusual behavior generated some curiosity. Despite no definitive confirmation, the report suggests it could have been an atmospheric phenomenon or a technological artifact of the time.
