🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In July 1958, a witness in Oklahoma City observed two white or silver disk-shaped objects the size of a baseball. They remained stationary in the sky for one hour and fifteen minutes, without making any sound or showing movement, before suddenly disappearing. The witness was a federal government employee conducting flight inspections, adding credibility to the report. However, the lack of precise data, such as exact location or environmental details, made it difficult to evaluate the phenomenon.
The atmospheric conditions at the time, with a haze layer at 25,000 feet, suggested the possibility of the objects being a sun reflection. Despite this, investigators concluded there was insufficient information to determine their nature. Like many other sightings from the 1950s, this case reflects the uncertainty and mystery that surrounded UFO reports during a time of evolving technology and public perception.
