🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In July 1958, a 51-year-old woman observed five arrow-shaped objects over Buffalo, New York. The objects, yellow and orange in color, emitted sparks and circled the area for an hour. Despite the duration of the sighting, no other reports were recorded from the region, which raised some concerns. Investigators could not determine with certainty whether the objects were a balloon, an aircraft, or an astronomical phenomenon. The lack of information about the size of the circles further complicated the evaluation.
The official Project 10073 report concluded that there was insufficient data for a precise assessment. Although several possibilities were considered, from aircraft to celestial bodies, no definitive explanation was reached. The case was filed as inconclusive, a common category for many UFO reports from that era. Despite everything, the witness's testimony and the detailed description of the phenomenon remain an unsolved mystery.
