🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In August 1958, a civilian in Wadsworth, Ohio, reported an object falling from the sky. The object was a thin-walled tube made of yellow brass with a brazed aluminum cap. No photos were taken, but the report detailed the material and handcrafted nature of the object. Analysts from Project 10073 considered it not an UFO, but a handmade artifact, possibly used for decoration or tools. The surface was darkened using an amateur method, indicating a terrestrial origin.
The report classified the case as "Brass T-1102," a category for unidentified brass objects. Although the possibility of an extraterrestrial origin was not entirely dismissed, experts concluded it was more likely a human-made object. Physical analysis confirmed the tube was too thin for military use and its construction was artisanal. Eventually, the object was stored in an artifact drawer without further study.
