In August 1958, a civilian in Minot, North Dakota, observed a blue and white object the size of a pea that shone intensely like a star. The object moved in a straight line from northwest to southeast and was visible for about 15 to 20 seconds before fading away. Although the witness mentioned five others also saw the object, there were no photographs or radar data involved.
