🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In August 1958, an observer in Warren, Michigan, reported an unidentified object that initially appeared as a bright sphere, similar in size to a pea. The object, extremely luminous, remained motionless for about five minutes before suddenly changing shape and direction. It transformed into an elongated object with a bulged center, flipped over, and sped toward the west with impressive speed. The witness used Japanese field glasses to observe the phenomenon, adding credibility to the detailed description. Despite the efforts of investigators, the object could not be identified as a balloon, aircraft, or astronomical phenomenon.
The report includes precise descriptions of the object's movement and appearance, highlighting its extreme brightness and lack of visible noise or exhaust. The observation lasted around ten minutes, with an initial period of stillness followed by an unexpected maneuver. The object disappeared quickly without showing signs of size reduction, suggesting unusual speed or distance. The exact location and weather conditions were recorded, but no photographs were taken. The report concludes with the label "unidentified," reflecting the persistent uncertainty about the nature of the phenomenon.
