🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In September 1958, an aerial phenomenon was observed near Miles City and other nearby air bases. Radar data showed objects appearing as aircraft and performing orbital movements. Despite fighter jets being deployed, no direct visual confirmation was achieved. Observers reported two objects with green, white, and red flashing lights, separated by two miles and seemingly stationary. The evaluation suggested one object could have been a weather balloon, while the other phenomena were attributed to anomalous propagation or ground reflections. The sighting duration ranged from 55 minutes to three hours, leading to a series of reports and photographs archived for further analysis.
