🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In September 1958, a Uruguayan woman named Esmeralda Nelly Rincón observed a luminous object moving rapidly from west to east. The phenomenon, described as an oval-shaped object with a blue-white color that changed to a reddish hue resembling Mars, was seen three times without a clear identification of its nature. The sighting was brief, but notable for its speed and the thin, white-blue trail it left behind. Although the report did not reach a definitive conclusion, the possibility of a satellite or aircraft was mentioned, though not confirmed due to insufficient data.
The observation form, filled with detailed questions, indicates that the case was considered of low importance for further analysis. However, the observer's description suggests a real and clear experience, with a straight trajectory and constant speed. Despite no witnesses or photographs, Rincón's testimony adds a personal touch to a case that, although unresolved, is part of Uruguay's UFO records.
