🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
On September 15, 1953, a witness in Michigan reported a red object the size of a baseball with a tail of the same size. The object was moving very slowly to the south, while winds were also blowing in that direction at 14 knots. Although a photograph was taken, elevation and azimuth of the object were not recorded, making it difficult to reach a clear conclusion.
Researchers considered several possibilities: it could have been a balloon, a comet, a planet, or even an aircraft. However, there was no mention of steady flight, adding to the mystery. Due to the lack of precise information, the report concluded that the nature of the object could not be determined with certainty.
