🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In October 1958, a civilian witness in Egg Harbor City, New Jersey, observed a round, bluish-white object moving from southeast to northwest. Described as the size of a dime, the object was seen for about 15 minutes. Despite the relatively long observation time, the information provided was limited, making a conclusive evaluation difficult. The initial report suggested it could be an aircraft, but no photographs or radar data confirmed this hypothesis.
The lack of precise data and the inability to definitively identify the object led investigators to conclude there was insufficient information for a conclusive evaluation. The weather was clear and atmospheric conditions normal, which did not help rule out conventional explanations. Despite the limitations, the case remains interesting due to its detailed description and the historical context of the time, when UFO reports were common and generated significant interest among military authorities.
