🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In October 1958, a witness in Valverde, Texas, observed a yellow pear-shaped object the size of a pea with a faint glow. The sighting lasted about 10 seconds and was reported to the Ground Observer Corps. Another witness in Kerrville, minutes later, described a similar object with slightly different details. Investigators concluded it was likely a meteor, given the description, duration, and apparent speed. Despite initial doubts, no evidence suggested it was a balloon, aircraft, or unknown phenomenon.
