🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In November 1958, an unidentified object was observed by around 500 people in Brasilia, the future capital of Brazil. The object, believed to be a flying saucer, was seen at an estimated altitude of 12,000 meters. A Brazilian Air Force plane ascended to 3,000 meters to investigate but returned to base without results. Although a balloon was considered a possibility, the data was insufficient to confirm this. The duration of the sighting was not reported, but the object remained in the area for some time without apparent movement.
The case was documented in an official report concluding that there was not enough information to evaluate the phenomenon. Despite the large number of witnesses, no photos were taken and no additional details were recorded. This incident is an example of how UFO sightings often generate more questions than answers, even when multiple observers are involved.
