🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A farmer in Rice, Washington, observed a red cigar-shaped object with a glowing exhaust trail that disappeared behind a hill. Ten seconds later, another witness in Colville saw a large white ball with a red trail, resembling a fireball. Both sightings happened in the same area and time, leading investigators to conclude it was likely a meteor. Descriptions match those of a meteor, with no evidence of conventional aerial activity.
The report includes testimonies from two different individuals, both deemed reliable by local authorities. Weather conditions in the area were favorable for observation, with partly cloudy skies and moderate winds. Although no photos or radar were used, the matching details between both accounts support the hypothesis of a natural phenomenon.
