🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In February 1959, two U.S. pilots in Japan observed an unknown object emitting changing colors. The UFO appeared larger and brighter than a star, with white light alternating with red, green, orange, and blue every three to four seconds. Although its shape and details remained unclear, the pilots noted that the object stayed at the same altitude as their aircraft, around 10,000 meters. The observation occurred at night, and the object made no sound, adding to the mystery.
The pilots described that each time the light intensified, it changed color, a phenomenon that could not be explained by known sources. The object was seen by two F-86D aircraft and remained visible for several seconds before disappearing. Despite the observers' efforts, the nature of the event could not be determined. The lack of sound and the inability to detect it on radar added to the confusion. The report concluded that the event could not be classified as an astronomical object or a conventional aircraft.
