🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In February 1959, a witness in Dayton, Ohio, observed a luminous object that appeared like a bright star. The object was seen moving side to side and changing color through binoculars. Initially thought to be the star Sirius, the observer's son questioned whether it was truly a star. The sighting lasted about an hour and the object remained visible, though it appeared smaller over time. Investigators considered possibilities like a balloon, a meteor, or an astronomical explanation, but no definitive conclusion was reached.
