🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In March 1959, a woman in Dayton, Ohio observed an object for 55 minutes. The report details that the object was a yellow light the size of a pinhead and did not disappear during the observation period. Astronomical records indicated that the star Capella was in the exact position the observer described, suggesting it might have been a star. However, the report did not reach a definitive conclusion and marked "Insufficient data for evaluation".
Additionally, another sighting of a tear-drop shaped object with a white-blue color was recorded, though it was observed for only a few seconds. Military and civilian authorities were contacted, but no clear explanation was found. The case reflects the difficulty researchers of the time had in identifying non-conventional objects, often attributed to natural phenomena or perceptual errors.
