🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In 1959, a 13-year-old boy in Big Spring, Texas, observed a glowing object moving rapidly across the sky. The object, described as round with a greenish-blue glow, appeared to be the size of a dime. It traveled in a straight line from south to north but disappeared suddenly before going over the horizon. The official report suggested it might have been a fireball, a bright meteor burning up in the atmosphere. Although there was no clear evidence, investigators considered the child's testimony consistent and sincere.
The report also mentioned clear weather conditions and predicted winds, indicating no atmospheric factors could explain the sighting. Additionally, there were no reports of unusual air traffic in the area, leaving open the possibility that the object was not an aircraft. Despite the investigations, no conclusive explanation was found for the phenomenon, keeping this case as an unresolved mystery.
