🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A citizen of Philadelphia in 1959 observed an object described as an inverted dish with a structure on top, the size of an egg, bright orange in color, and pulsating. He saw it for about five minutes before it faded away. The witness, an amateur astronomer, first observed it with the naked eye and then with a telescope. Although initially it seemed like an unexplained phenomenon, military authorities concluded the object was a flare dropped by a Navy aircraft. Additionally, the public had been previously informed via radio about this activity to prevent unnecessary reports. Despite this, the witness sent photos of the event, though no clear images of the object were found.
