🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In May 1952, an unusual aerial phenomenon was reported in the North Pacific. A white glow was observed simultaneously by three ships, initially dimming before brightening as if exploding, then vanishing after three seconds. Although several possibilities were considered, such as balloons, aircraft, or astronomical objects, investigators concluded it was likely a meteor. This sighting occurred during a period of intense meteor activity, supporting the hypothesis. The report, under Project 10073, did not include photos or radar data but emphasized the consistency of multiple witness accounts.
