🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In June 1959, a witness in Oakhurst, New Jersey, reported seeing several bright objects in the sky. The objects appeared from the southwest horizon, climbed rapidly, and then descended toward the northeast. They were described as bright white lights with unusual movements, even forming shapes like a "five" on a die and a crescent. One observer remarked they looked like an airplane without wings, sparking curiosity.
Authorities reviewed the report and considered several possibilities, including balloons, aircraft, and astronomical phenomena. However, no definitive conclusion was reached. The lack of clear evidence and the inability to verify the origin of the objects left the case unresolved. Although a flight of five aircraft was mentioned in the area, it was not confirmed that they were the ones observed.
