🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In June 1959, a witness in Novinger, Missouri, reported seeing a red and green object moving up and down in the sky. The object, described as pea-sized, was observed for 15 minutes. Initially thought to be the planet Venus, its position and behavior didn't match expectations. The lack of additional witnesses and the inability to identify the object with certainty led to the sighting being classified as "insufficient information."
Military authorities reviewed the case and considered the possibility that it was aircraft landing lights. However, no conclusive evidence or additional witnesses were found to confirm this theory. The final report concluded that there was not enough information for a definitive evaluation, highlighting the ambiguity surrounding many UFO sightings of that era.
