🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In June 1959, an unidentified object was observed in Michigan. The sighting was recorded from the ground, with visual and radar observations. Although photos were taken, the object could not be clearly identified. Several possibilities were considered, such as a balloon, an aircraft, or an astronomical phenomenon. However, the data was insufficient for a conclusive evaluation.
Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, responsible for Project Bluebook, documented the incident. Despite multiple hypotheses, the report concluded that the object remained unknown. This case reflects the difficulty researchers of the time had in explaining unexplained aerial phenomena, with limited tools and a lack of clear information.
