🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In August 1959, a witness in Dallas, Texas, reported a bright white object moving along an unusual flight path. The object, described as slightly larger than a pea, was observed for a few minutes before disappearing mysteriously. Initially considered a possible balloon, the data was inconclusive. The sighting was recorded by the air surveillance system, but the phenomenon could not be definitively identified.
The official report suggested several possibilities, including astronomical objects or conventional aircraft, but no explanation was confirmed. The lack of photographs and the brief duration of the sighting complicated the analysis. Although a balloon was considered, the data was insufficient to rule out other hypotheses. Like many cases from that era, this one remains an unsolved mystery.
