Summary

In October 1959, a witness in Dayton, Ohio, reported seeing two unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs) at different times. The first sighting involved two red lights appearing in the east and moving northward before disappearing over the horizon. A second observation later that night showed a yellowish or blue-white light passing overhead, circling, and returning to the southeast. Although balloon or astronomical explanations were considered, the analysis concluded it was likely aircraft. The detailed report, including directions, duration, and visual descriptions, was recorded by the Air Force's Project 10073.
