🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In October 1959, an observer in North Kamloops, British Columbia, spotted a red or orange object moving rapidly across the sky. The object, described as circular or oval in shape with a diameter of 1.5 to 2 feet, had no tail and emitted no sound. Its speed was estimated at 590 mph, raising some surprise as it did not appear to be a balloon or conventional aircraft. The report noted no radar contact or air traffic in the area, and the lack of additional data prevented a conclusive evaluation.
The case was classified as insufficient for a definitive assessment, and no further investigations were conducted. Despite the object's speed and glow, no clear explanation was found. Like many other cases from that era, this one was filed without a satisfactory resolution, leaving questions about its nature unanswered.
