🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In November 1959, a witness in North Carolina reported an oblong object approximately 6 feet long and 4 feet wide, with a golden center surrounded by a blue reflection. The object appeared to rotate slowly and moved erratically, rising and falling while intermittently disappearing. The report suggested it could have been the planet Venus, which was low on the horizon. However, witnesses claimed the object followed their car for 20 minutes, creating confusion about whether it was an astronomical event or something else.
The official investigation noted that the observers had a questionable reputation, initially raising suspicions of a prank or legal ploy. However, after further review, it was concluded that they genuinely observed something, though it could not be definitively identified. The multiple witnesses in the area and the detailed description of the phenomenon add an air of mystery to this case, which remains unsolved.
