In November 1959, a young witness in Bound Brook, New Jersey, spotted a red-orange object moving rapidly across the sky. The object was described as resembling a bright star, round, and extremely fast, traveling from the southeast to the northwest for about two minutes. The observation was made from the ground under clear and cold weather conditions. Although the initial report classified it as insufficient due to the lack of multiple witnesses, later analyses suggested it could be a high-flying jet aircraft.
The report includes detailed information on the object's exact location at the beginning and end of the observation, with charts and notes showing its trajectory. Despite the witness having no technical training, his detailed description and the context of the sighting led investigators to consider the possibility of a military jet. However, the object's speed and appearance did not match conventional objects, leaving some ambiguity in the interpretation.
