🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In December 1959, a 14-year-old boy in Alpha, Ohio, observed a mysterious object in the sky. The object, described as round, yellow-white in color, and the size of a pea, was visibly pulsating. The witness, walking home when he heard an airplane, looked up and saw the object. Although initially thinking it might be a balloon, weather calculations indicated that a balloon could not have moved that fast or in that direction. Investigators considered the possibility that it was a military aircraft, such as an F-101 or T-33, which were in the area at the time. The object disappeared from view by pulsating and changing direction, without making any sound.
The official investigation concluded that the object was an aircraft, although the witness was not certain. The description and behavior of the object did not easily fit conventional categories, generating some uncertainty. The observation was recorded with precision and the young witness's testimony was considered reliable, adding interest to this case. Despite conventional explanations, the case remains an example of how unidentified objects can generate debate and detailed analysis.
