In December 1959, a witness in New York observed a round, silvery object with a solid appearance. The sighting lasted about two and a half minutes, but no photos were taken and no additional details were recorded. The lack of precise information prevented authorities from reaching a clear conclusion. The report indicates the object was moving from west to southwest, but it could not be determined whether it was a balloon, an aircraft, or an astronomical phenomenon.
The witness did not properly complete the questionnaire sent by the authorities, which further complicated the analysis. Despite being asked for detailed information about their location, estimated speed, and other data, many questions remained unanswered. This case is an example of how the lack of concrete data can leave a mystery unresolved, even when it involves an officially reported sighting.
