🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A 21-year-old technician in Connecticut observed a yellow-orange light in January 1960. The witness described it as a bright point similar to a car's tail light at one mile distance. The object moved slowly from northwest to west for 60 seconds, emitting a low rumble as it disappeared. Although initially considered a jet aircraft, the detailed description and the witness's account add mystery to this case. The official report suggested it could be an aircraft, but the witness saw no other lights and couldn't identify the sound with certainty.
