🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A 1960 report describes a UFO that was not seen directly but left visual and auditory traces. A woman observed a cloud of smoke or a contrail, accompanied by a loud whistle before the object fell into a swamp. The object landed just 200 feet away and emitted a hissing sound as if extremely hot. Although the observer did not see the object itself, the description suggests a small meteorite. Local police investigated the site but found no physical traces, which was attributed to the nature of the terrain. Analysts concluded it was likely a "bolide" type meteor, consistent with the described symptoms.
