🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A declassified report from 1960 describes a sighting of an unidentified object in La Camp, Louisiana. A witness observed a bright red disc that landed with a loud noise, moved rapidly across the ground, and caused several explosions. The object left marks on the terrain, including a crater and a tree cut. Paint samples were taken and compared with rocket samples, but no matches were found. Despite investigations, the case remained unsolved.
The report includes photographs of the impact points and a detailed description of the traces. Witnesses reported a sound similar to projectiles and very loud explosions. A radar detected an object at high speed, but its identity could not be confirmed. The case was classified as "unidentified" due to the lack of conclusive physical evidence.
