🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A witness near Waco, Texas, reported a strange aerial object in May 1960. The observer, a 33-year-old man who installs farm equipment, described a long and possibly pointed object with no visible wings or tail. According to his estimation, the object was approximately 20 times larger than a B-47, a bomber of the era. The sighting occurred at dusk, when he heard the sound of a jet and looked up. The object moved from east to north, making a 90-degree turn without apparent change in direction. The observer lost focus and could not determine the color due to sunlight reflections. Despite the witness appearing reliable and knowledgeable about known aircraft, the report was deemed insufficient due to having only one witness. The area showed no known air traffic, and there were no interceptions or physical evidence.
